Classic Lawns are pleased to announce the sale of the award-winning MO Bacter organic lawn fertiliser (http://www.classic-lawns.co.uk/acatalog/scarifiers.html). MO Bacter is an organic fertiliser which feeds the lawn, destroys the moss and leaves no black debris.

MO Bacter (new to the UK) does all three - and the bacteria digests the dead moss, removing the need for raking.

This unique product, from Viano of Belgium, is an award-winning slow-release granular fertiliser which eradicates moss by secondary action, feeds grass and improves the soil.

Moss dies from an excess of potassium but leaves no black debris. The dead moss is then digested by the bacteria in MO Bacter (npk: 5-5-20). MO Bacter becomes active when the soil temperature reaches 10°C. For best results, apply MO Bacter in March, April and May (or early autumn). It is supplied in 20 kilo bags. One kilogram treats up to 10 square metres, so a bag will be enough to treat up to 200 square metres.
