WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED FOR PALMDALE CORPORATE CENTER PHASE I

(August 2008) Palmdale, California – Ware Malcomb Los Angeles has completed design and construction for Phase I of Palmdale Corporate Center, located at the northwest corner of Auto Center Drive and Trade Center Drive in Palmdale, California. The project is being developed by Realm Real Estate of Newport Beach.

Ware Malcomb is providing master planning and architectural design services for this phased project, which includes four, 2-story, Class A, speculative professional/medical office buildings totaling approximately 240,000 square feet within a 14.1 acre site. Phase I of the project includes Building 1, a 60,000+/- square feet professional/medical office building. The building design features neutral colors, blue insulated glass, brushed metal and wood, creating an archetypal yet modern style that complements the surrounding environment. Wood panels were used break up the façade of the building while a metal clad fin wall and canopy accentuate the entry.

Palmdale Corporate Center is the first Class A office development in the last 10 years in Palmdale. The project is conveniently located west of the 14 Freeway in Palmdale’s Trade & Commerce Center, with close proximity to restaurants, hotels, shopping centers and a new 250 bed Palmdale Regional Medical Center.

Construction for Phase 1 of the project began in November 2007 and was completed in early August 2008. Oltmans Construction Company of Thousand Oaks, California served as the general contractor for the project.
