WARE MALCOMB AWARDED THE DESIGN OF ANAHEIM CONCOURSE BUILDINGS 3330 & 3370

(September 2008) Anaheim, California – Leading Design Firm Ware Malcomb has been awarded the design of Anaheim Concourse Buildings at 3330 and 3370 East Miraloma Avenue. The project is the first two phases of a 60 acre redevelopment project, owned by Panattoni Development Company. The site previously served as The Boeing Company’s Anaheim campus. Building 3370 totals approximately 204,989 square feet and building 3330 totals approximately 195,798 square feet.

Ware Malcomb’s Irvine corporate office is providing planning and architectural design services for both Anaheim Concourse buildings. Building 3370 includes a retrofit of the existing 2-story R&D and office building into a 204,989 square foot office building, showcasing an enhanced entry with feature walls and new windows. Building 3330 includes a retrofit of the existing 195,798 square foot, 6-story office building, featuring a new exterior façade on all sides, providing an updated, modern appearance.

Anaheim Concourse Buildings 3370 and 3330 will integrate sustainable design elements and will be pursuing LEED certification. Sustainable design features include the use of recycled materials, a certified cool roof, water efficient fixtures, low VOC materials, reclaimed water use, drought tolerant landscaping, a construction waste management plan, a building recycling program and
certified wood.

Panattoni Construction Inc. of Irvine, California will be serving as the General Contractor for the project. The construction start date is tentatively set for December 1, 2008.
