WARE MALCOMB WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR, SITE DEVELOPMENT

(September 2008) Irvine, California – Leading Design Firm Ware Malcomb is proud to announce A.J. Whitaker, PE, PLS, has joined the firm as Director, Site Development in our Irvine Corporate Office.

What is site development?
Ware Malcomb offers site development services, through an in-house team of professional civil engineers who specialize in understanding commercial real estate. An integrated approach involving both civil and architectural design services creates tremendous value including great accuracy, quality and efficiency – resulting in the best real estate solutions for our clients.

About A.J. Whitaker
A.J. is a California licensed Professional Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor who has over 12 years of experience in all facets of civil engineering and land surveying. Prior to joining Ware Malcomb, A.J. was a Principal at Stantec, and previous to that, The Keith Companies. A.J. has worked on a variety of commercial developments, industrial distribution and retail projects. He has vast professional knowledge in business development, recruiting, operations, civil engineering design and project management.

As Director, Site Development, A.J. will lead the continued growth and expansion of the site
development team throughout Ware Malcomb’s North American markets. He is focused on
fostering client relationships, client development and overseeing company wide Site Development projects.

He is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is the former Kern County Chapter President of the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California (CELSOC)/American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
