As being a respected affiliate of the San Diego Better Business Bureau, Total Secure Shredding was pleased to take part in “Shred Day” held at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA, on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Approximately 100 cars packed with boxes flowed into the stadium parking lot Saturday morning. Roughly a dozen of BBB volunteers greeted all cars in the Qualcomm parking lot. Consumers received free informational booklets on ID theft prevention. According to the BBB website they worked with national companies like ProQuo, Equifax and (NAID) National Association for Information Destruction. Shortly following the event on Saturday Total Secure Shredding recycled over three tons of paper. Total Secure Shredding also extended the “Shred Day” to employees of prominent local companies like Qualcomm and SDGE till Friday September 26, 2008 at their local plant located at 3584 Hancock St. San Diego, CA 92110.
