Heath Scientific to Host School Fundraiser with Carroll ISD

Heath Scientific announced its sponsorship of a school fundraiser event at Rockenbaugh Elementary School, a part of the Carroll Independent School District (Carroll ISD) from November 10-14, 2008.

Heath Scientific will be hosting their Exploration Fair, which is a school fundraiser that offers for sale many at-home experiments for children, as well as household pets including: ant farms, Beta fish, and Tarantulas.
All merchandise being offered for sale will be provided by Heath Scientific, as will a cash register, $100 change fund, and the appropriate training and assistance. Rockenbaugh Elementary will only be responsible for providing an open room for the sale, and volunteers to work during the sale, as well as during set up and tear down. 25% of the net sales gross will go to Rockenbaugh Elementary School.

“We feel,” said Heath Nichols, founder of Heath Scientific, “that the Exploration Fair, provides a great benefit for schools in providing educational materials that makes science fun for children. In addition, the Exploration Fair is an easy school fundraiser for Rockenbaugh and other schools of Carroll ISD, that will provide extra money for other endeavors.”

Located in Southlake, Rockenbaugh Elementary School is a part of the Carroll Independent School District.
