What started as a nice idea has become a great concept: An all-covering internship placement company which offers the interns not only the placement, but as well accommodation, language classes and cultural activities. From the beginning to the end the interns are in safe hands at Hutong School as they will be picked up from the airport upon their arrival and can count on practical assistance during the entire stay.

Hutong School started in September 2005 with their office and classrooms in an apartment building and a total of 8 students. In the meantime it has developed not only a thriving Internship Program, but as well a successful Intensive Chinese Program which consists of the same package, but the internship is here replaced for more classes.
Now it has become to be a real Hutong School in a traditional Beijing courtyard with renovated and authentic classrooms and office space. Currently there are 60 students following classes.

General Manager Sang-In Kim commented: ‘We are of course very happy to have achieved this, but we need to keep focused and use this success to build on and strive for bigger things.’

The third anniversary will be celebrated within the Hutong School courtyard and is not only open for students and staff, but anyone else interested.
