GREENSBORO, N.C. (November 13, 2007) – Loren Ridinger, senior vice president of Market America Inc., an Internet marketing and product brokerage company, will serve as honorary chair of the Fashion for Friends fashion show presented by Friends of the Orphans on Wednesday November 14, 2007.

Fashion for Friends combines the work of world-renowned designer Carlos Arturo Zapata with Friends of the Orphans, an organization who is dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children through the support of the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) network of orphanages in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ridinger will be the star of a special Zapata catalog that will be distributed at the event which features her modeling the famous designers sophisticated and upbeat collections. Ridinger will also walk the runway with Zapata in a one of its kind specially designed dress. Over 400 of the catalogs will be circulated at the event free of charge thanks to a donation from Ridinger.

“Every child deserves a good and loving home and this is a chance to raise awareness about an organization that has helped place over 15,000 children in caring and stable homes since 1954,” said Ridinger. “Market America recently launched an all Spanish web portal accessible at marketamerica.com in order to reach out to the Latin community, and this is yet another opportunity for us to become involved and help these children find loving homes.”

The event will take place at The Ancient Spanish Monastery, the oldest building in the western hemisphere. It was originally built in Segovia Spain in the mid 1100’s and was dismantled stone by stone in 1925 and reassembled in 1953 at North Miami Beach. Live music will be performed by Warner recording artist Nazareno Andorno.
