Irvine, CA, USA. MobilityWare, a leader in iPhone apps, has released its latest update to its leading Solitaire application. Solitaire is the leading paid solitaire application in the AppStore. As with all updates from MobilityWare, the new version is free to customers that have already downloaded the Solitaire application.

The major additional functionality in this release is landscape mode. The older version only supported portrait mode. “We pay close attention to the reviews customers post in the AppStore,” said Dave Yonamine, Director of Marketing, MobilityWare. “Enough customers had requested landscape mode that we thought it important to add this functionality.”

Landscape mode is not the only feature in this release. In addition, users now have the choice of right-handed or left-handed play.

Adhering to company policy, Yonamine added, “We could have announced this upgrade earlier, but it was awaiting approval. As you know with the success that the AppStore has had, Apple is swamped. This is an update that had been pending approval from Apple for some time.”

As always, MobilityWare will continue to enhance its current iPhone applications with updates that enhance the user experience. Past updates included saving the state of the game, larger card sizes, support for different card appearances, and an undo capability.
