(Indianapolis, IN): The popular electronic magazine, Word On The Street announced today the expansion of their dedication to supporting unsigned artist with a new online seminar series (WOTS Webinar’s) geared towards addressing all aspects of the music industry. Word On The Street brings the Top Industry Professionals in a series of interactive sessions that will be providing comprehensive information, advice and reviews.
More than 100 presenters have been solicited to participate and Owner Sheila Chadwick is excited about the team. It has been a blessing to have made the connections that I have over the years, working with and growing Word On The Street to be a viable resource in the entertainment industry. I have called upon the best of the best to help me to educate todays artist as understanding of the industry is a key factor to success. Success in this industry can come to fruition by learning early on the proper steps to follow and in some cases, the individuals in the position to make that happen. This webinar series will do that.
The Word On The Street Webinar series will feature five days of industry-related sessions. Here attendees will meet and learn from independent and major record label representatives, music producers, lawyers, publicists, studio engineers, radio station executives, songwriters, recording artists, CD manufacturers and distributors managers, agents and many other power house contributors. Sessions will examine and discuss relevant issues that impact an artists future in the music industry.
"By allowing our attendees to converse and collaborate with these industry experts, we are helping to develop their skills and exposing them to the contacts needed to excel in this business said Sheila Chadwick. The most exciting aspect of this all is our offering each session online.
Removing time and geographic barriers, WOTS is offering this series via the World Wide Web where attendees will be virtually up-close and personal with each sessions presenter, saving attendees hundreds on travel costs yet still allowing them to receive the same valuable information. Sheila Chadwick states We have always embraced technology and this is another example of how we are staying ahead of the game and keeping abreast of the technological advances that are ever changing in todays market.
The WOTS agenda includes discussions, tool assessments, product displays, song critiques, state-of-the-art technology demonstrations, and much more. All attendees — regardless of their being unsigned or a veteran— will benefit from this exclusive event, which is designed around education, virtual interaction, and networking.
