IECA Announces New Staff Members

Denver, CO - After a successful move to the new Denver office, the International Erosion Control Association is pleased to announce the recent addition of several new team members. Each new face brings a unique background and fresh ideas that have already made a positive impact on the day-to-day at the IECA office.

Georgina Zynda joins the IECA team as Administrative Assistant to Office Manager, Pat Fete. Georgina most recently worked with the Michigan Concrete Paving Association where she held a similar position. With her passion for people and positive attitude, Georgina has already challenged Pat in the “Most Helpful Employee” competition.

Holding down the front desk with a smile is new receptionist, Nia Hamilton. Nia has a background in customer service, sales and marketing. She holds a degree in technical communications and has worked as a substitute teacher for elementary age children.

Gwen Ingram-Thompson comes to the IECA with over 20 years in the accounting and finance field and is a great addition to the staff. Gwen will be tackling the bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and processing the financial information for the Board of Directors.

Katie Kiaha joins the IECA team as Marketing Manager. Katie comes from the homebuilding industry where she most recently worked in the Denver marketing department of Richmond American Homes. She holds Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is an ardent Buffs fan.

Joining the IECA as Education Director is Jimmy Eanes. Jimmy has more than 20 years experience managing all aspects of training and learning solutions. He specializes in eLearining formats and has global experience. Jimmy holds a Master’s degree in Education and is a current member of many professional organizations including the American Society for Training and Development. He is also CPESC and CESSWI certified.

Please join current staff members Russ Adsit- Executive Director, Pat Fete - Office Manager, Scott Johnson - IT Manager and Meg Tully - Association Development Director in welcoming these new employees to the International Erosion Control Association. Don’t forget to save the date for an open house at the IECA’s new home in Denver on October 16th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
