(May 10, 2007) MommyTalk.com, a free international social networking website for parents, has joined forces with mom shopping site ClassyMommy.com to giveaway some great celebrity swag valued at over $1,000 and to ultimately help support Save the Children and Project Peanut Butter, both charitable organizations which benefit women and children around the world.
The Celebrity Swag giveaway is happening over three weeks and was donated by Jewels and Pinstripes, the same company that gifted celebrity parents earlier this year. Last week, the first batch of first-class swag was given away to one lucky web-savvy mom who won items including onesies from Inky Dink Tees, velour bath sacks from Bambini Carini, Inc., childrens sunglasses from Tweakms Sunglasses and more, valued at more than $400.
Today, another lucky winner will receive another batch of swag, including a Simply Ella infant car seat cover, a Baby Kaed diaper bag, pacifier pouches and changing pad and Bloomers Baby Diaper Cake. Anyone who signs up to be a MommyTalk.com member by Thursday, or is already a member, has the chance to win. The last batch of swag for the month will be given away on Thursday, May 17. Membership on MommyTalk.com is completely free.
"These items are literally the kind of stuff that celebrity parents of twins like Patrick Dempsey and Marcia Cross are constantly gifted, said Colleen Padilla, owner of ClassyMommy.com.
ClassyMommy.com, a web-based shopping hub for moms has a unique mission to harness some of the $1.7 trillion that wired moms spend shopping online ever year and redirect dollars to children in need around the world. When moms shop through the sites affiliate marketing partners, Classy Mommy donates all the proceeds to charity.
Its really important to us at MommyTalk.com to partner with like-minded organizations, who provide great services or products to our members, but who have a solid, founding purpose behind them, said Travis Moss, president and CEO of MommyTalk.com. ClassyMommy.com is a perfect example, and were thrilled to work with them to support children around the world and have a blast doing it.
