Based out of Chapel Hill, N.C., SemiPolitico is the brainchild of John d'Alessandro and Ryan Kane, two seniors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

SemiPolitico emphasizes user-generated content, and urges its readers to submit articles for consideration. The site stays true to its moderate roots by offering critical but noninflammatory analysis of the state of politics.
