Texas Rangers pitcher, C.J. Wilson, recently hosted the C.J. Wilson and Friends Guitar Hero Challenge to benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children at the House of Blues in Dallas. Tournament participants and spectators made a $10 donation to attend the event.

The first 64 guests to arrive were able to register to play in the Guitar Hero Tournament, which concluded with a challenge between 10 finalists. The finalists performed for a three-judge panel that chose a winner based on skill, score and showmanship.

This was the second of three tournaments to benefit TSRHC. The first tournament, held at the Southwest Airlines Headquarters’ Landing Café, offered the first 10 players to arrive the opportunity to compete against C.J. Wilson.
