(Atlanta GA) After getting burned by multiple outages of toll-free phone service, The founders of Toneable.com have had enough.
What was frustrating for everyone has been turned into a product that will help alleviate long outages of toll-free service.
"I was so tired of finding out about my 800 numbers being down from my sales people... and even worse the president of our company that I finally decided to do something about it" says Matt Lankford one of the founding members of the toneable.com team.
Matt goes on to add "Our toll free numbers are our lifeline, when they are down we may not know about an outage until one of our customers tells us and that can take days or weeks"
Explaining how companies will keep multiple numbers for different marketing campaigns Matt said "Some of our numbers would not be used for a while so we could track individual marketing efforts and then when we needed one of our specific vanity numbers.... was the time we would find out the number was down, and about the time the marketing director would complain about me not being on top of it".
Matt pulled together a small but talented team to put the project together saying "I would rather have a few great people than hundreds of couch potatoes".
Toneable.com is currently in a private beta period with an invite only beta coming soon. Currently toneable.com has a form that allows people to sign up for an alert of their launch and to leave comments. The invite only beta testers are going to be from those sign-ups. The base product will be free.
