The Atlanta Journal-Constitution today announced that its Do Good channel, an online community to support Atlanta nonprofit causes, has launched.

Powered by good2gether, the Do Good channel organizes Atlanta nonprofits. Discover volunteering opportunities, events, in-kind donations, jobs and more on dogood.ajc.com. Visitors can also search Do Good by specific cause or within a certain geography. Listings provide a link to the Atlanta nonprofit’s site, as well as other social networking tools that enable visitors to share findings with others.

This service is free for nonprofits and helps increase visibility among potential donors, volunteers and advocates. To date, the network has more than 700 nonprofits participating.
