Sift Media reshapes Finance Week to create value for members and advertisers-

Sift Media has revealed a wholesale redesign of Finance Week (www.financeweek.co.uk), to create ‘a first port-of-call for topical and practical finance content’ for its community of senior finance professionals. The re-launch marks the first of many for Sift Media’s B2B publishing portfolio.

The online publication, part of Sift Media's portfolio since early 2007, has been transformed in terms of technology, content and marketing offering, with specific areas of in-depth content locked down to profiled members, creating added value for advertisers.

Darren Falkingham, head of marketing at Sift Media explains, “The process we have used to refresh Finance Week is a tried and tested one: we bring together the key stakeholders in the business – editorial, sales, marketing and IT; we then conduct persona profiling exercises help us to identify our target audiences; finally, we match our content to their business needs. We have kept registration processes simple, with the majority of editorial content available without the need to register. Access to email bulletins and in-depth content will require registration, helping us to understand our readers better and, importantly, to maintain strong audience profile data for advertisers to deliver relevant and effective online marketing campaigns.”

Finance Week will publish a variety of content for the finance community and will be aimed at the CFO, FD and non-exec board members through to in-house financial controllers, management accountants and other operational staff with an interest in finance matters.
