Lambi Fund of Haiti Awarded PR Grant from Blueprint Creative Group

Lambi Fund of Haiti to receive public relations services to increase awareness about the needs of rural communities of Haiti and help raise funds to address those needs.

MIAMI, FL, July 25, 2008 -- With the sluggish state of the current economy, funding for many non-profit organizations are being drastically reduced due to government funding cuts and a reduction in corporate donations, leaving many non-profits financially strapped to operate and fully serve their communities. In a time where community demand is at all time highs for the services provided by non-profits, the PR grant was created to lend support to the awarded non-profits and provide necessary services to help strengthen the organization's brand awareness, increase volunteerism, and ultimately stimulate corporate and private donations. Of all the non-profits that applied for the grant, Lambi Fund of Haiti was among one of the awarded non-profits and will receive the necessary services to raise awareness about the needs of rural communities in Haiti and raise funds for the Lambi Fund to operate the programs in Haiti addressing these needs.

"I really value volunteering and the value it provides to our communities, but admittedly, I don't always have enough time in the day to devote to my community and to serving others. As an avid supporter of volunteerism and community development, our firm noticed the lack of strategic marketing and public relations support by non-profits and created the PR grant to serve that need. So, this is my way of giving back. Lending our services to an organization that benefits the common good of our communities at least helps me feel like I'm making a difference," Fabiola Fleuranvil, Principal of Blueprint Creative Group.
