Motion Golf is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra (Sandy) Jaskol as vice president of Sales and Marketing. Ms. Jaskol will work from the company's corporate headquarters in Fairfield, NJ, as well as instruct in New York and New Jersey locations.
Ms. Jaskol, a Class A member of the LPGA, brings to Motion Golf more than 20 years experience in the golf industry. Her accomplishments include participation in the Futures Golf / LPGA Tour and Australian Tour; The Metropolitan Women's Open and New Jersey Girls Junior State Championships, and TV appearances including a segment with Michael Hebron on The Golf Channel.
"Sandy brings a wealth of great experience to Motion Golf. From her time on tour to marketing the Titleist brand, she has a great base to help position Motion Golf as the premium brand in golf instruction. Her enthusiasm for the product coupled with her positive personality will help customers plan and execute tournaments and corporate events," stated Joe Luciano, CEO of Motion Golf.
Before joining Motion Golf, Jaskol was a representative of various companies in the U.S. She was assistant Women's Golf Coach and Team Professional, Princeton University, Head Coach, LPGA Junior Girls Golf Club of Greater Trenton; Director of Instruction, The Ridge at Back Brook; Teaching Professional, Winged Foot Golf Club. An advocate for the advancement of women in golf, Jaskol has been involved in numerous women's initiatives and is often sought out as a guest speaker at events and associations nationwide; representing such influential outlets as Golf for Women magazine and the Executive Women's Golf Association. In addition, Jaskol served on the National women's advisory board of the Acushnet Company, (comprised of the Titleist, Cobra and FootJoy brands). In this role she specialized in women's golf relations and marketing and championed the company's women's marketing initiatives. Sandy remains on the Women's Advisory Board of Acushnet today, where she continues to play an important role in the development of their women's initiatives. In 2004, Jaskol became the first woman Teaching Professional at Winged Foot Golf Club since 1980.
Regarding her new role, Jaskol said, "Talk about the "wow" factor. The first time I observed a session at Motion Golf, I knew I had to work there. I became a better teacher in an hour, while my student also became a better golfer in an hour. Golfers of all levels are going to improve their game, no doubt about it! This is truly going to be the driving force to finally lower handicaps."
During her career Jaskol has worked with such notable instructors as Michael Hebron, David Leadbetter and Mike Adams; as well as mental training and coaching instructors include Chuck Hogan, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott (Coaching for the Future).
ABOUT MOTION GOLF
Motion Golf (www.motiongolf.com) brings the most advanced 3-dimensional real-time immersive golf teaching system to today’s avid golfers. This system generates unparalleled 3D visualization that dramatically changes the way golfers can analyze, understand and learn. The centerpiece is the Motion Golf Imaging (MGI) System. This system uses six high speed cameras to capture your swing and/or putting stroke, and renders a 3-dimensional computer image in virtual real-time. This is the same multi-million dollar technology that, before now, was only available to top PGA and LPGA Golf Professionals. The premise of the system was to use it for club fitting for Taylor Made Golf Company. The research engineers, spearheaded by a Professor at Auburn University, also create other motion sports analysis systems that have recently been purchased for training purposes by the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox baseball organizations. In addition, the engineering Company, known as “Motion Reality, Inc.”, also received a 2005 Academy Award for Technical Achievement for the use of this 3D technology in Lord of the Rings, Polar Express and King Kong films, just to name a few. In addition, the technology is now embedded into EA's popular Madden Football game.
