Award winning children's television series cranks up presence in retail market with prominent sales of plush character toys.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI (March 04, 2008) – My Bedbugs children’s character toys, modeled after the award-winning My Bedbugs educational children’s television series produced by Greenestuff, Inc., are being featured on retail giant Meijer’s website, Meijer.com as one of the retailer’s “Hot New Products”. The toy line is comprised of eight and twelve-inch plush and cuddly dolls, as well as CD's, DVD's and games.

Meijer is a Grand Rapids-based retailer that operates 181 supercenters throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky and credited as the inventor of the "one-stop shopping" concept.

Created by husband and wife team Alex Greene and Carol Sweeney with assistance from educators and educational consultants, My Bedbugs was designed to strengthen developmental skills for two-to six-year olds. The live action trio of Gooby, Toofy and Woozy, who bear the nicknames of Greene’s and Sweeney’s own children, embark on fun-filled adventures which entertain and educate young children. The accompanying toys help carry forth those same essential childhood lessons and social skills while further endearing children and parents.

“As we develop Meijer.com as a destination for toys that parents seek and children enjoy, we are reaching out to children and families with award-winning products. In addition to the three main characters, Meijer will carry, Snoozy, the My Bedbugs talking pillow that interacts with children. Once hidden, Snoozy gives audible clues to its location and upon being found, it praises the child and prompts them to play again. In addition, Meijer will carry plush toy J. Edgar, the mentor and guardian of My Bedbugs, Build-a-Sentence card game, and My Bedbugs series-based CDs and DVDs.
