More then 8,000 independent life insurance agents and brokers in the U.S. are registered to use Skywire Software’s QuickView portal to dramatically reduce delays, errors and costs associated with processing life and annuity insurance applications. The portal enables independent producers to view pending and inforce case status, and commissions from multiple carriers – all on one convenient Web site. With QuickView, life insurance carriers and general agencies can view real-time insurance data movement across Skywire Software’s Insurance Data Exchange (IDX) hub. IDX is one of the largest data hubs in the industry for life insurance and fixed annuities, processing millions of transactions a year from more than 50 leading carriers, producers and service providers. More than one million new policies and 10 million messages were processed through the IDX hub during 2007, with the company expected to exceed those milestones this year.
