(Raleigh, N.C.) PRPowerhouse, the free social network for business news, is sponsoring a nationwide contest for the best press release successfully posted to PRPowerhouse.com. The contest is open to small and mid-sized business owners from throughout the United States.

The winning first-place entry will receive a cash prize of $150 plus free publicity via PRPowerhouse.com’s RSS feed technology; a hyperlinked banner ad on PRPowerhouse.com through the end of January 2008; and inclusion in a press release about the contest distributed to industry and general media outlets. Second- and third-place entries will also be included in the nationally distributed press release and will receive a $75 or $50 cash prize respectively.

To participate in the contest, individuals need to successfully post a press release to PRPowerhouse.com between now and December 4, 2007. Winners will be announced December 11, 2007.
