iolo technologies has released a major update for System Mechanic, its best-selling PC tune-up utility. The latest version offers much enhanced usability and an optimized, more powerful hard drive defragmentation tool.

iolo had planned to delay the release of these product improvements and include them in a future product upgrade, but feedback from critics and beta-testers was so overwhelmingly positive that iolo CEO Noah Rowles decided to make new features available as soon as possible and at no cost to Version 7 and subscription customers.
